Lady Gaga Dangles the Big Banana!

"Wanna have dinner with me? Well now you can! Just give me your money first!".  Ok Lady Gaga didn't really say that but she might as well.  The Born This Way Foundation, a venture Gaga started with her mother Cynthia, partnered up with Prizeo to give her fans the chance at having dinner with her and her family in NYC at guess where? Joanne Trattoria! Holy promo Batman!  There's a catch though.  You have to donate to her foundation to be considered.  Your donation is basically an entry into the sweepstakes extravaganza.

The contest is set up in a tier structure.  The lowest tier is $10.00 and the highest is $2000.  The more money you give, the bigger and better a fan you are.  According to Gaga and her mother that is.

Let's not forget the contest tagline.

But what is the impact?  What exactly does The Born This Way Foundation do?  Sure, the words they use are warm and cozy. Just like a politician telling you what you want to hear to ensure their election victory, but has no real plan.

"BTWF’s revolutionary initiative, the Born Brave Bus Tour, is an educational ‘tailgate’ experience that connects young people to the resources, skills and opportunities they need to make a difference in their communities, and to one another".

Again, what resources, skills and opportunities?  This is what I'm talking about.  A lot of talk but no real plan.  The Born Brave Bus accompanies her on her tour and sets up shop in the parking lot, where deviants like Terry Richardson join in on the fun.  What does the foundation do when Gaga isn't on tour?  Oh right.  It designs cute post-it notes, pens and other stationery to sell at Office Depot to help cure you of your emotional and mental ails.

What else?  Help me out guys.  What does this foundation do when Gaga isn't on the road?  Are they in schools giving lectures?  Or is there an actual location or shelter that kids in emotional distress can go to?  Do they operate a self help line like Kid's Help Phone? Or is this charity simply another way for Stefani to prop herself up to Messiah-like status while getting a huge tax break?  Is this another way for her to revel in the worship she gets from her fans?  Just like her Little Monsters website.  Have you been on that site?  It's basically a shrine to Gaga.  All she has to do when she feels a little down is log on, read and her ego will be fulfilled beyond capacity.

Fun fact, there is no capacity when it comes to Stefani's ego.  With all the recent competition and fame-blocking from another no talent attention whore that goes by the name of Cyrus, no doubt Gaga is worried and will pull out all the stops.  Including copying the fellow fur wearing daughter of the Achy Breaky Heart one-hit wonder singer. Right down to the all white clothing and matching shoes.  It's just a matter of time before Gaga starts sticking her white coated tongue out at every photo-op possible.

How can anyone take this foundation, it's aims and it's CEO seriously?  Especially when she works with sexual deviants and rapists like R.Kelly and Terry Richardson?  Paint me confused, but how does exposing her fans to these vile men inspire creativity and promote kindness, bravery and individuality?  How does giving them a pass help create a kinder and braver world?

Anyone that truly cared about contributing to a kinder and braver world would extend that kindness and compassion to the Earth's basic creatures.  But the Queen of Kindness and Compassion has a wardrobe full of fur coats.  Not to defend meat eaters but when was the last time you saw a mink, fox or sable in your grocery store for you to consume after it's skin was removed for fashion?  How about never.  So the animal is skinned in the most atrocious way possible simply for fashion and the meat discarded and wasted.  All to satisfy her selfish, materialistic and shallow need for fashion.   From day one, Gaga has always been the prime example and perfect spokesperson for the "Do As I Say, Not As I Do" club.  Maybe that should have been the name of her foundation.

I'm not buying what she's selling.   Are you?
