Open Letter to Kelly Osbourne from holier than thou Lady Gaga

Last week Kelly Osbourne said in an interview that most of the hate she gets on Twitter are from Lady Gaga's fans and that they are horrible to her.  The intensity of this hate stemmed from an episode of Fashion Police where Osbourne criticised Stefani for not walking the red carpet.

This clip you just saw inspired Little Monsters to be brave and tweet Kelly telling her to kill herself, calling her fat, hoping she gets raped, among other things.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with Kelly expressing an opinion on whether a celebrity should walk the red carpet or not.  It's worth adding that Kelly is right.

Today, on Stefani's Little Monster's website, she posted an open letter to Kelly Osbourne in response to Kelly saying Little Monsters are the worst bullies. Getta load of this.

I have two words to begin my opinion.  Fuck and you; and I'll tell you why.  The general tone of Stefani's response is unbelievably self righteous and holier than thou.  Lets start with the opening.

While I wish you had reached out to me personally, as the head of the Born This Way foundation with my mother Cynthia we would like to respond.

Why on God's green earth should Kelly have reached out to Gaga personally?  Kelly can do and say whatever she feels and Stefani, you are not the automatic go-to person if someone is feeling bullied or picked on.  In fact, I'm glad she didn't go to you.

I have empathy for you Kelly, but I feel it culturally important to note that you have chosen a less compassionate path. Your work on E! with the Fashion Police is rooted in criticism, judgment, and rating people's beauty against one another. “Appearance” is the most used reason for bullying in the world. Your show breeds negativity, and over the years has even become comedic in nature. It glorifies you and Joan Rivers pointing in the camera, laughing, and making jokes about artists and celebrities as if we are zoo animals.

Whoa!!!  Wait one second here Lady.  This is a classic turning of the tables right here and so very manipulative.  Stefani is deflecting from what Kelly actually said.  Kelly did not say anything negative about Gaga, but only of her fans.  Stefani is responding in a tactful way as if it's a personal attack and then implies that because of Kelly's work on E! Fashion Police, that she deserved it.  Had Kelly followed Gaga's saintly lead to "breed compassion" instead of poking fun at celebrities, then perhaps she wouldn't have been attacked in the first place.

It would've been much more commendable if Stefani posted an open letter to her fans and told them to stop tarnishing the message of the Born This Way Foundation and to quit attacking Kelly and other celebrities.

And may I add that Stefani keeps talking about this so called "judgement free race" but didn't she just cast judgement on Kelly Osbourne? That was a rhetorical question.  Of course she did.  What a shame that Kelly couldn't be more like her.

Moving on.

However, I urge you to take responsibility and accountability for the example that you are setting for young people. They look up to you because you are famous, and if you treat others that way on TV, many adolescents at home on twitter assume your actions are acceptable.

Oh really Gaga.  You don't say.  My response is this.

Lip Injections.  What about Born This Way and being proud of what God gave you...since he makes no mistakes??

Hanging out with the biggest blow hard in Hollywood until 5:30 am at the Cheateau Marmont.  You are the company you keep.  Take notes Little Monsters.
Is that coke on her nose????

Enough said.  Oh, and you can't talk about "breeding compassion" when you consider her fashion choices.  She's the last person anyone should be taking compassion advice from.

Next.

What about your body revolution? It used to make me truly sad when I would hear people talk about your weight when you were younger, as I was bullied too. To see you blossoming into a beautiful slender woman who makes fun of others for a living is astounding

Do you remember when Lady Gaga advised women to hide their flaws?  Or when she bared her catty claws and whined about Adele being fatter than her?  Yeah, I thought so.

And finally.

I cannot control my fans, and I discourage them from any negativity and violence, because that is wrong and hurtful -- and I do feel baldy that your feelings were hurt. However, we can all do our part in the media to set a standard of respect, compassion, and love.

She's right.  She can't control her fans but admit that your foundation is a big, fat fail.  Her message is not reaching the masses that she hopes it would.  Much to Lady Gaga's dismay, she is not Jesusa Christ.

Stefani's open letter is littered with hypocrisy, self importance, an inflated ego and is so condescending.  She has effectively turned the spotlight back to Kelly Osbourne by lecturing her on why she isn't as good as she is or as perfect.  Coming from her, I can't say that I am surprised.  How's that for the truth tea!

If anyone is on Little Monsters, please copy and paste this.  Thank you.

UPDATE

And Sharon Osbourne responds back to Lady Gaga.  Gaga gets OWNED!!!
